About Us

Sajid (Saj) Syed

After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan in 2003, Dr. Syed began practicing dentistry in Estevan, Saskatchewan, where he worked for two years before moving to Ontario.

In 2005, Dr. Syed purchased a practice in Dunnville, using his unique style and service improvements to maintain the quality care the Dunnville community has always enjoyed.

Dr. Syed continued to expand his business, purchasing Pavillion Dentistry in 2009. He is dedicated to providing the residents of St. Catharines and surrounding communities with excellent dental care and personalized service.

In 2021, Dr. Syed purchased Lakeside Dental in Stoney Creek. He and his family now live in Stoney Creek, where they love being part of a smaller community.

Dr. Syed enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a special interest in complex cases like dental implants, full mouth reconstruction, and orthodontics. He has a passion for performing life-changing treatments that increase a patient’s quality of life by providing them a fully functional smile.

Recently, his dedication and hard work were recognized when he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology, the highest level of competency in implant dentistry. He is also an Associate Fellow and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Aside from being a big promoter of continuing education, Dr. Syed also mentors other general dentists wanting to enhance their clinical skills in implant dentistry.

Outside of work, Dr. Syed loves spending quality time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys staying fit and playing tennis.

Michael J. Danelon

Dr. Danelon is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, in London, Ontario. He has been in private practice since 2003, working for the most part in the Niagara Region. In August of 2009, Dr. Danelon was pleased to have the opportunity to join the team at Pavilion Dentistry.

Dr. Danelon says the most rewarding aspect of his career at Pavilion Dentistry is participating in providing patients at the office with personalized quality care.

Aside from dentistry, Michael’s interests include fitness and nutrition, do-it-yourself home improvement projects, and in the summer hiking our local trails. He also enjoys entertaining friends and is an enthusiastic cook.

Jennifer

Jennifer started her rewarding dental assisting career in 1992, after graduating from St. Clair College in Windsor. She worked as a dental assistant for 10 years in the St. Catharines area...

Kristen

Kristen is a graduate of Niagara College as a certified Level I and II Dental Assistant/Dental Receptionist. She has been working within the dental profession for over 9 years.

She enjoys being outdoors, travelling, camping, hiking and living an active and healthy lifestyle. In her spare time, you can find her spending time with her son, family, and friends.

Mary

Mary is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has over 30 years experience. Mary graduated from Niagara College Dental Hygiene Program and brings her knowledge and strong work ethic and cheerful demeanor to our team. During Mary’s career, she worked at Niagara College as a clinical instructor in the dental hygiene program.

Mary loves taking care of all our patients and holds children and seniors and patients with Parkinson’s in special regard. In her spare time, Mary enjoys boxing to keep fit and spending time with her family.

Melissa

Melissa has over 16 years experience as a dental assistant and is also a certified dental office administrator who graduated from Niagara College and Career Canada.

In her spare time she enjoys relaxing with her two daughters and husband. Staying active, healthy and trying to be positive as a family has always been important to her. She also adores her almost 10 year old pug named Gus. When opportunity arises she likes to partake in art classes, venturing the outdoors and attend concerts.

Nicole

Nicole is a registered dental hygienist who graduated from Niagara College in 2020. She strives to provide the best care by working alongside with her patients to improve their oral health and overall wellbeing.

Outside of dental, she enjoys playing sports and coaches volleyball.

Sarah

Sarah is a Register Dental Hygienist that has cared for our patients over the past 10 years. In 2022 Sarah took a year long hiatus from her hygiene career as she had the opportunity to travel to many beautiful countries. Thankfully, Sarah landed back here with us in 2024. Her love for interior design and remodelling keeps Sarah busy in her downtime. Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and walking Graham, her chocolate lab.
